These terms apply when you book an appointment, buy a gift voucher, or use the Creative Square website. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
Our Services
Creative Square provides premium hair styling, colouring, treatments, and related salon services at our Fortitude Valley studio.
All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to decline a service if we believe it would not be in the best interest of your hair health.
Bookings
You can book an appointment through our website, by phone, or by messaging us directly.
When you book, we will confirm your appointment time, the service requested, and the estimated duration. Please arrive on time so we can give you the full service.
We may ask for your name, phone number, and email address when you book. This information is used to manage your appointment and send you reminders. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand plans change. We ask that you give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
- More than 24 hours notice: No fee. You can cancel or reschedule free of charge.
- Less than 24 hours notice: A $70 cancellation fee applies.
- No-show with no notice: A fee of 40% of the service value applies.
This notice allows us to offer your time slot to another client. To secure your booking, we may ask you to register a card. Any fee above is charged to that card.
Late Arrivals
If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment. The full service fee may still apply if we have held your time slot.
The no-show fee may still apply (40% of the service value).
Pricing and Payment
Prices for our services are available on request or listed on our website and booking platform. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable.
We accept cash, card (Tyro EFTPOS), and online payment. Some bookings may require a deposit or full payment at the time of booking. Payment is otherwise due at the end of your appointment unless arranged in advance.
Prices may change from time to time. We will always confirm the current price before starting your service.
Refunds and Complaints
We want you to love your hair.
If you believe the final result does not match the agreed outcome discussed during your consultation, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment.
We will be happy to assess the situation and, where appropriate, provide a correction at no additional cost.
We do not offer refunds or corrections where the service was performed as requested and dissatisfaction relates to a change in personal preference after completion of the service.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by these terms.
Allergies and Sensitivities
Before each service, you are required to complete a form where you can disclose any allergies or sensitivities. This helps us choose the right products for you.
Please also tell your stylist about any skin sensitivities or scalp conditions before your appointment.
We may recommend a patch test before certain colour treatments. If we recommend a patch test, the colour service cannot proceed without it.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are available for purchase. The following conditions apply:
- Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase, as required by Australian Consumer Law
- Gift vouchers can be used for any salon service, subject to availability
- Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash
- Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced
- If your service costs less than the voucher value, the remaining balance stays on the voucher for future use
Liability
We take great care with every service. However, Creative Square's liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
We are not liable for:
- Reactions to products where you did not disclose known allergies or did not complete a recommended patch test
- Results that differ from expectations if the desired outcome was not achievable with your hair type or condition (we will always advise you before proceeding)
- Damage to personal belongings left unattended in the salon
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Photos and Content
All photos, text, logos, and design on the Creative Square website are owned by Creative Square or used with permission.
You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without written permission.
We may occasionally photograph hair work for our portfolio or social media. We will always ask your permission first. You can say no at any time.
Website Use
Our website is provided for information and booking purposes. We make reasonable efforts to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete or error-free.
We are not responsible for any issues caused by accessing external websites linked from our site.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Continued use of our services after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
